Unique and Effective Coaching

Lions Cub Club’s coaching approach blends high-level playing experience with intentional athlete development. Both directors are USA Field Hockey Nexus coaches and SafeSport certified, with four years of collegiate field hockey experience. Our staff includes current and former college athletes, and we incorporate strength and conditioning into practices, led by Director Kiera Lyons, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, to support well-rounded athlete growth.

Proud Achievements

One of the proudest achievements of our coaching staff is building Lions Cub Club Field Hockey from the ground up while still in college. What started as a small program has grown rapidly through dedication, hard work, and a passion for developing young athletes. In a short period of time, the club has tripled in size, a testament to the trust families place in our coaches and the positive, competitive environment we’ve created for our players.

More Than Just Coaches

Beyond field hockey expertise, we want parents and players to know that our coaches genuinely care about each athlete as a person. As former players who understand the demands of balancing academics, athletics, and personal growth, we prioritize confidence, communication, and mental resilience just as much as skill development. We strive to create a supportive, positive environment where athletes feel valued, challenged, and encouraged to grow both on and off the field.
